Malla 431B lies in the northwest of the Province of Santiago del Estero, running from southeast to northwest through the south of the Province of Salta and the northeastern tip of the Province of Tucuman.
The Malla covers a stretch of Route 34 from km 856.74 (Garmendia, in the Province of Santiago del Estero) until km 964.46 at the intersection with Route 9 at Rosario de la Frontera in Salta. Work involves repaving the existing road surface, repairing the structure with superficial patches, as well as performing deeper repairs, fissure sealing and recycling. Subsequently, work will be carried out to lay the hot asphalt reinforcement layer and rebuild the verges.
This will be complemented with other tasks such as installing vertical signage, reinforcing the berms and bridge balustrades, installing galvanized metal defense rails, and repairing ditches and drainage, among others.
Routine maintenance work has been planned in order to keep the road, shoulders and verges making up the section in good working condition.
