The enhancement of Plaza de la Cruz, located in the city of Corrientes, adds a series of modern elements to beautify the original design of this historic square. The works involved laying new articulated pavement paths, replacing street lighting with LED technology, installing new urban furniture such as park benches, and building new areas for specific uses, such as children’s playground, gymnastics and training, and a flat platform area to act as a base for shows. Other elements included a new irrigation system and the installation of two symbolic monuments in reinforced concrete, covered in a 2-cm layer of mirror finish San Francisco green granite.
