Located in the historic center of the city of Corrientes, the Plaza 25 de Mayo is the main square of the capital city of the province of Corrientes. The project to enhance the Plaza 25 de Mayo aims to preserve the original and historical design of this urban landmark, which was declared a National Historic Monument in 1989, and endow it with modern, functional and inclusive features of the 21 st century. The works carried out envisage a range of tasks, including restoring monuments, laying new granite paving, installing LED lighting and comprehensive landscaping work as well as putting in ramps and working on adjacent streets, etc.
