DESCRIPTION OF WORKS

The Industrial Liquid Effluent Treatment Plant (PTELI) will treat the waste from the tanneries in the Lanús Industrial Tannery Park (Parque Industrial Curtidor – PIC). 

 

The work is part of the Sustainable Development Project for the Matanza-Riachuelo Basin and its objective is to filter and purify the residual liquids produced by the leather and related industry sector, mostly by the establishments set to operate in the Park as well as others installed in the vicinity. The treatment plant will clean and purify between 8,000 to 12,000 m3 of industrial liquids per day, the result of the processes used to tan some 12,000 hides, and will have cutting-edge technology.

 

The contract includes preparing the executive project as well as carrying out detail and process engineering, execution of civil works, supply and installation of all electromechanical and electrical equipment, instruments and the automation mechanisms for the treatment process, as well as plant commissioning and the provision of technical support and advice to ACUMAR during the operational stage for a one-year period.
