DESCRIPTION OF WORKS

Construction of a sewage collector of 4,600 m in length in the District of San Isidro, Province of Buenos Aires.

Work includes laying fiberglass reinforced plastic (GRP) pipes of 1,200 and 1,400 mm in diameter at varying depths as well as pipeline sections in a reinforced concrete tunnel of 1,200 mm and 1,400 mm of inside diameter. Laying includes the crosses under the railway line (Ex FCGB), the Northern Access Highway, its collector and the rainwater collectors. The pipeline connects with the existing collector in West San Isidro, Section I, where the appropriate connection is to be made.

Section I is one of the collectors that supplies the Norte wastewater treatment plant, operated by the company «Aguas y Saneamiento Argentina S.A.» (AySA), in the District of San Fernando. Additional works included building 30 manholes to provide access to the afore-mentioned pipes.

The work will allow sewer services to be provided to large number of inhabitants in the district of San Isidro.
