DESCRIPTION OF WORKS

Construction of the new headquarters of the Banco de Corrientes in the capital city of the province. The building will be erected on the land occupying the entire block between the former railroad tracks and Dr. Piragini Niveiro, Gral. Lavalle, and B de la Vega streets. It includes the construction of a 1,450 m2 ground floor earmarked for customer service operations, and eight AAA-category office floors with an area of 831 m2 each for over 450 workstations, as well as two floors of parking lot space and a basement housing the Regional and Provincial Treasury vaults.

The ten-story building has a modern, institutional look to it, and its operational capacity means it can handle over 2,000 daily visits. It also has a large auditorium with independent access and seating for 405 people.

The new building housing the province’s leading financial institution stands out for is high-quality finish and noble materials. Its most striking features include a hermetic double-glazed façade, intelligent control of BMS installations, technical flooring with a modular carpet, granite-stone floors and paneling in the main entrances and ground-floor lobby and service area, acoustic ceilings , natural wood interiors, solar collectors, absorbent terraced roofing and generator backup equipment able to service the entire building.

The project aims to be awarded the LEED–NC Certification (version 4) thanks to the application of sustainability and energy-saving concepts, as the first public building in the province to apply for the certification process of these standards.
