DESCRIPTION OF WORKS

Design, assembly and installation of a Schedule 40 steel pipe 20.8 km long and 6″ in  diameter for water transport in the Farallon Negro Mining Complex, saving a drop of more than 600 meters in height difference.

The laying of the pipeline was carried out between the lower pumping station and the intermediate pools (first stretch of 10.5 km) and from the latter to the upper property (section 10.3 km).

The same was calculated for a flow rate of 15 liters/sec and a working pressure of 60 kg / cm2 of seamless pipe coated in reticulated polyethylene with a Canadian trilayer system and a cover of one meter in depth.

Additionally, the project was undertaken including the design and assembly of the anti-waterhammer system and the water uptake system, digging chambers and trenches, and providing and installing pipes, valves, flanges and anti-waterhammer tanks both at the Nacimiento establishment and in the Intermediate one. New Jersey type defenses were placed in the chambers at the end of the access road.
